Well, life goes on here in The Bluff City. Work is good, rehearsal is good, and life in general is just busy. This past week was kind of tuff though with my alternator going out and the television blowing up, but other than that it's been a relaxed week. LOL. I went to get a new television today after work, and it should be delivered on Monday after I get home. It's a 37 inch Sony plasma flat thing-a-ma-jig that should fit nicely in the corner of the living room. I've been wanting one like this for a while (so has Brad) but there was no need while the mammoth was still working. Brad has never liked the size of the monstrosity we have now, but I LOVED it. It was like Anne Curry was sitting in my living room EVERY DAY! I sure do love me some Anne Curry. ANYWAY..... I think it's a 60 inch (not too sure of the size) projection screen, and it was working great before Thursday, but as I sat working at the computer it just decided to give up the ghost and die of old age (aka natural causes.) It was a good beast of burden and served it's master well, but like all good things; it too met it's end. It will be sorely missed. Just to fill you in, the play is coming along nicely. We are doing "LIL SHOP" out at the Kudzu theater (my second time in this role in the past 2 years) it promises to be a good production. It's gonna be a multi-media show with cheezy pre-recorded 50's commercials and montages along with the spinning stage and hydraulic risers. We open in 3 weeks. I'll keep ya updated on how opening night goes. Alright, well that all from me for now. I hope you all had a happy 4'th of July! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

A CUTE JOKE
The Atheist and the Bear.....
An atheist was taking a walk through the woods. "What majestic trees!What a powerful river! What beautiful animals!" he said to himself.As he was walking alongside the river he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. He turned to look. He saw a 7 foot grizzly charge towards him.
He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw that the bear was closing in on him. He looked over his shoulder again, and the bear was even closer.He tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up but saw the bear right on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw and raising his right paw to strike him. At that instant the Atheist cried out: "Oh my God!..."Time stopped. The bear froze. The forest was silent. As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky: "You deny my existence for all of these years, teach others I don't exist, and even credit creation to a cosmic accident. Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer?"The atheist looked directly into the light, "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask You to treat me as a Christian, but perhaps could you make the BEAR a Christian?""Very well," said the voice. The light went out. The sounds of the forest resumed. And then the bear dropped his right paw, brought both paws together and bowed his head and spoke: "Lord, bless this food,which I am about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord,Amen."

And were back.........
After a short hiatus without a computer, Brad has built me a new one and I am back better (and faster) than ever! YAY! The video card went out on my old one, but this one is running like a champ! Everything is going good here. Just the same ol' same ol'. Hope you all are having a great memorial day weekend! I have to work, but I get off at 2:00pm so I'll still have plenty of time to have fun in the afternoon! Have a GREAT weekend!
